Educational programmes for women

Social and political awareness among women is raised through conferences, workshops, seminars and short courses. Discussions include issues such as women's rights, domestic violence and political process, reproductive health, HIV/AIDS and child care. Women are taught organisational and business skills, such as budgeting, small business conception, finance management, marketing and agricultural methods. This might include training on how to develop snail-farming or poultry. Understanding for example the importance of animal vaccinations can save a woman most of their chicken.
