Micro-Credit: Small Loans make Big Changes
The micro-credit scheme was created by the women's meager savings in 1988. The scheme is growing rapidly and has become highly successful. It offers badly needed credit to the poorest and most vulnerable women, enabling them to carry out life-changing, income-generating activities.
Below you can see pictures of some of our previous success stories.
Mrs. Felicia Muenkeme has developed
a firewood business with our help
Mrs. Scholastic Foletac sells garri, which is grinded from
manioc and pounded either into fufu or eaten with water and
sugar as such.
Mrs. Celestine Tany sells coco-yams
at the market. These vegetables are used mostly in the same ways
as potatoes, but are much more healthy.
