Volunteering for Mbonweh Women's Development Association can provide you with an opportunity to help women and children by sharing your knowledge and expertise. You are not required to be an expert in the field you are going to work with, but you do need to be knowledgeable and skillful in the relevant field and be motivated to work with women and children in need. Mbonweh expects you to work during office hours. Requirements Volunteers can work in the following fields:

Fee and duration of stay
The fee for volunteering is 100 euros a month including food, accommodation and pickup and return to a prior arranged meeting place. The closest international airport is Douala.
If you wish to make any donation to Mbonweh that would be much appreciated, but certainly not a requirement. You are required to make your own travel plans and pay for your flights, vaccinations, visa and insurance. You should also have enough money to pay for your everyday needs such as hygiene products etc.
We will be happy to provide you with any information and an invitation letter for your visa application. Be sure to start preparing for your trip by getting all necessary vaccinations and visa, as the process may take longer than you imagine especially if you do not have a Cameroonian consulate in your country.
There is no minimum length of stay, but the longer you stay, the more of an impact you can expect to make.
Experience South West Cameroon
South West Cameroon is one of the two Cameroonian Anglophone provinces. It is amazingly rich in its vegetation, because of the active volcano Mt. Cameroon. The rainforest is the world's second most rich in its biodiversity after the Amazon in Brazil.
Cameroon has much to offer and we welcome you also to experience the country during your stay as long as you keep in mind that the priority of your stay is to work for Mbonweh.
Application
In case you wish to volunteer for Mbonweh, please send an email with your application and CV as attachments. The application should include your motivation for volunteering with Mbonweh WDA, what area you wish to volunteer with, your experience in this field, any prior volunteer experience and when you wish to arrive and depart.
